Together they outclassed the entire field of competitors: Sophie Hinners and the only ten-year-old stallion Churchill (by Cassito) secured victory in Münster with a masterful and fine round through the difficult CSI4* course of the Grand Tour. The harmonious pair, who already stood at the top of the podium in Donaueschingen, reached the finish line after only 71.80 seconds. A top time in the main jumping competition at the Tournament of Winners, which no one even came close to achieving. And a demonstration of fine riding. With this, the current leader in the Bemer Riders Tour put a big exclamation mark.
Second place went to Marco Kutscher with the Hanoverian gelding Carriado (by Carrico) after a clear time of 73.18 seconds. European Champion André Thieme and his Derby partner Contadour (by Conteros) jumped into third place.
For Sophie Hinners it was already the second Golden Ribbon on this day. The 24-year-old, who had travelled to Münster alone by truck, had already won the Youngster competition in the morning in the saddle of the seven-year-old Holstein mare Honey Bunny (by Livello).
