Postponement of the European Dressage Junior Championships
Originally it was planned that Dressage European Championships of Children, Juniors and Young Riders will take place in the Spanish city of Valencia. Now it became known that there will be some changes here.
On the website of the Federation Equestre Internationale (FEI), it was now announced that the venue would now change. Nevertheless, it remains in Spain. This is now in Oliva Nova.
Many of the show jumpers will probably know Oliva Nova as the venue of the famous MET show jumping competitions. Now the European championship of the young dressage riders will be there.
Things will then get underway in Spain from July 5 to 11.
Eurodressage also announced that there will also be a change in the rules due to the Corona pandemic. This year's participants will not have to meet any minimum performance requirements to be nominated by their national federations.
Oliva Nova already hosted a European Dressage Championship in 2016.
