New horse for Luca Collin

Just recently the young Rhinelander Luca Sophie Collin could win a silver medal and a bronze medal at the European Championships in Oliva Nova. Now she has another horse in her stable: Bonamour. The smart chestnut by Bonifatius out of Fantasie by Rousseau x Werther x Donnerwetter can already show experience in the international arena. The 11-year-old stallion was licensed in 2012 on the occasion of the Westphalian licensing. The chestnut stallion took his stallion test in Zweibrücken. Here he passed the test as best dressage stallion with a score of 8.56.

As a five-year-old, he changed hands at the Westphalian Jumping Elite Auction for €160,000 to the Koranic dressage rider Dong Seon Kim. Since he trains with Hubertus Schmidt on a regular basis, the stallion moved to his stable. He trained him together with his team up to Grand Prix level.

However, Dong Seon Kim's plans then changed. He then purchased the internationally experienced Belstaff from Helgstrand Dressage. For this he traded Bonamour. A new plan for the stallion was found in the stable of Helgstrand Dressage. He was not sold directly, but first came to Patrik Kittel, who was to train and school him further.

This is also where Luca Sophie Collin became aware of the Bonifatius son. "My plan is to get to know Bonamour first and then start with him in the U25 Tour." In the course of buying Bonamour, the student of Jochen Bender traded in her horse Dolani, who is now with Kittel.
