Maurice Tebbel loses Don Diarado and Chaccos Son

Sad news that the Tebbel Stallion Station had to announce shortly before Christmas: The two stallions Don Diarado and Chacco's Son I will no longer be seen under the saddle of Maurice Tebbel in the future.

Don Diarado was one of the top horses in the German team. Together with Tebbel they were able to shine with sovereign rounds this year, among other things, at the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
For a long time, "Doni", as Don Diarado was called, has been owned by the Müter family, which also supports the U25 jumping cup. For a long time it seemed as if it was certain that mothers would secure the stallion for Tebbel.
Now the surprise: Harm Lahde, the new chief rider at the Elm Gestüt "Drei Eichen", is about to get into Don Diarado's saddle.

Maurice Tebbel himself writes the following on his social media channels: "Thank you Doni, for everything! After 10 years together, Don Diarado left our stable today. The new rider of the Müter family will now take over Doni. An unexpected and very difficult farewell for us . Since we discovered him at the licensing when we were 2 years old, we have made our way from the first A show jumpers to the Olympic Games together. At the age of 9 we won the GCL stage in Hamburg and the team bronze medal at the World Championships in Tryon. In the last year he developed enormously again and constantly jumped abnormal laps. In 24 of 29 rounds alone he had no jumping faults this season. Victory in the GP in Hagen, Opglabbeek and in the Nations Cup in Sopot, 2nd place in the 4 * GP in Mannheim & the Nations Cup in St. Gallen, 3rd place in the 5 * GP of the GCT in Samorin, best German team result at the Olympic Games in We were able to achieve Tokyo and many other top 10 placements at 5 * level this year. The goal for the coming season was the World Cup in Herning, but this and many other dreams are now a thing of the past. It's always hard to lose your best horse, but Don Diarado is much more to us than that - an absolute world horse and family member. Take care Doni, we will miss you very much. "

At least a small ray of hope should be the fact that Don Diarado will return to the Tebbel family farm after his sporting career, so that he can be used for breeding again afterwards.

Chacco's Son I will not return to the international stage either. He is to be ceremoniously adopted at the stallion show in February and thus to be available to breeders with fresh semen.
