National trainer of young eventers, Julia Krajewski, can add another victory to her success account.
Together with her Olympic hopeful Amande de B'Neville she won the CCI4*-L eventing in Saumur. In the process, she prevailed against many international riders.

"I went here because Mandy (Amande de B'Neville) still needed the formal championship qualification and because it is a different course than usual. And I deliberately picked Saumur because it is known as a challenging test," Krajewski explained.

The last time the junior national trainer competed in Saumur, France, was several years ago. The last time she competed was in 2005 as a junior and won gold with the German team.

Already after the dressage, the pair was in first place. With 24.7 minus points, they clearly took the lead. "That was our best dressage result so far, yet there is certainly still room for improvement," announced the national junior coach.
The mare also remained faultless in the cross-country and in the jumping course. "The cross-country course of Pierre Michelet was indeed very demanding and expressive, but fairly built. It is partly a forest course around a racecourse, definitely hilly and with uneven ground, which was also used for the course. So quite in the direction the build is currently going, with bumps that were also used for the track. So quite in the direction in which the setup is currently moving," the Amazon told after the test. "I know my mare gallops big and is brave, so this was a good course for us. Mandy has now reached where I always hoped she would be and was able to prove here what she is made of. To deliver such a dressage result and bring it home is really something special."

Mandy, as the mare is called at the stable, came to Julia Krajewski's stable as a six-year-old. After saying goodbye to her top horse Samourai du Thot, Krajewski is now pinning all her hopes on the mare.
