Jumping Bordeaux postponed

Due to the health restrictions imposed on sporting events and shows by the French government on 27 December, the 2022 edition of the Jumping International de Bordeaux cannot be held. The Organizing Committee of the Jumping International de Bordeaux and the Salon du Cheval de Bordeaux announces today the cancellation of the 2022 editions which were supposed to take place from 3 to 6 February 2022.

THE JUMPING INTERNATIONAL DE BORDEAUX IS POSTPONED TO 2023
Until the very last moment, the teams of Congrès et Expositions de Bordeaux, organizer of the event, worked to maintain a 2022 edition, considering all options, including a postponement to March, unfortunately without succeeding. We would like to warmly thank the Federation Equestre Internationale for their support and active collaboration in the postponement option, as well as the Federation Française d’Equitation. We would also like to thank all those who have worked to keep the 2022 Longines FEI World CupTM in Bordeaux during this already difficult season. We are very grateful to the athletes who have shown their support and for whom this new cancellation marks yet another disappointment in their season. We thank the Cadre Noir de Saumur who were to hold two exceptional Gala evenings in 2022. We would particularly like to thank our partners, our exhibitors, our spectators and our visitors for their loyalty and their kindness; all were ready to leave their mark on another very beautiful and eagerly awaited edition of the Jumping International de Bordeaux. And finally, I would like to thank all the teams of Congrès et Expositions de Bordeaux who work hard to make this beautiful event a success and who, like me, are heartbroken today. More than ever, we look forward to seeing you in 2023, from 2 to 5 February, to celebrate with all our community, all equestrian sport enthusiasts, a wonderful horse and sport festival!

Long live the sport!"

Sabine Zaegel, Director of the Jumping International de Bordeaux
