Münster: 18 jumping two-year-olds and nine pregnant broodmares were for sale this evening at the Westphalian Stud Book. 81 percent of these changed hands. In total, the Westphalian Stud Book realised 221,500 Euros. The most popular youngster was a son of Dakar VDL/Hors la Loi II, who was worth 23,000 Euros to his new owners. A daughter of Cornet Obolensky was the most expensive broodmare at a hammer price of 10,000 Euros.
The most expensive youngster did not have to wait long that evening. Right away with the number 1, Patrick advanced to the top of the price. The son of Dakar VDL/Hors la Loi II (breeder: G. Popken, Netherlands; exhibitor: Daniela Brink, Neuenkirchen) aroused international interest. The talented grey stallion will start his journey to Australia at the hammer price of 23,000 Euros. The Diaron/Chacco Blue son with the head number 8 also cracked the 20,000 Euro mark. Dia Chacco (breeder: Markus Hillemeier, Delbrück; exhibitor: PFERD24 GmbH, Lienen) comes from a highly successful dam line that already produced the successful show jumper Domenco, who started for Belgium at the CSI4*. After an exciting bidding duel between Great Britain and the Ukraine, he changed to Ukrainian ownership at the hammer price of 20,000 Euros. With a total turnover of 177,250 Euros for the 16 youngsters sold, the internationally interested customers invested an average of 11,078 Euros in their future show-jumping aspirant. Half of the sold horses will start their careers outside of Germany.

Nine broodmares in foal completed the lot of this online auction. All of them are in foal to successful sires and expect a foal for 2023. Cornetta (breeder: Heinz-Josef Beermann, Ladbergen; exhibitor: Annette Beermann, Ladbergen) with the head number 20 aroused the highest desire with a hammer price of 10,000 Euros. The four-year-old grey mare by Cornet Obolensky/Stakkato is in foal to Meganus PS for 2023. Six of the broodmares on offer changed owners. Four of them will give birth to their foals abroad next year. With an average hammer price of 7,375 Euros, they generated a turnover of 44,250 Euros.
For the dressage horse fans it will be exciting in one week. In another online auction, 29 two-year-old dressage riding horses as well as four pregnant broodmares are up for sale. Bids on the qualitatively highly interesting lot can be placed from 10 to 14 November. Photos and videos of the horses on offer can already be viewed online at onlineauction.westfalenpferde.de.
