A new summer of events at the Westphalian Horse Center in Münster-Handorf is imminent and we can look forward to the fantastic highlights of Westphalian tournament sport and breeding!
A highlight: Our traditional Westphalian Week, which will take place this year from July 25th to 30th, 2023 at the Westphalian Horse Center. A varied program of top-class sport and breeding awaits us over six days: The Westphalia week has a large number of different dressage tests up to class M and jumping tests up to class S ready. Tuesday puts amateur equestrian sport in the limelight for the third time as the "Sparkassen-Tag der Amateure". As a further sporting highlight, the final of the AGRAVIS Technik BvL+Saltenbrock Amateur Cup 2023, which was held for the first time this year, will take place as part of the Westphalia Week, for which the best 50 riders from the ten qualifications recommended themselves. Qualifications for this year's Bundeschampionat take place in Warendorf as a meeting place for highly talented young Westphalian horses. The best young talents from Westphalia will be awarded the title of Westphalian Champion 2023 in Münster-Handorf. Another breeding highlight of the six-day event are the elite shows for three- and four-year-old mares, which have their grand entrance here. On Friday and Saturday, the tournament area becomes an auction floor. First off are high-class jumping foals, which will be auctioned off under the hammer by auction manager Thomas Münch on Friday. On Saturday the auction of the high-quality dressage foals will take place, which will then find their new owners here. We look forward to six successful days dedicated to Westphalian horse breeding and sport!
