Traditional show VR CLASSICS Neumünster postponed to 2023 - World Cup dressage can take place.

Neumünster - The VR CLASSICS Neumünster, which will take place from 16.-20. February 2022 in the Holstenhallen will be postponed to 2023. "This is a big disappointment for the equestrian sports fans and also for us as organizers," said tournament director Francois Kasselmann, "but the current situation of the corona pandemic does not allow any other decision." The good news: The FEI Dressage World Cup can take place in the Holstenhallen on February 19th and 20th - without an audience on site, but available in the live stream on ClipMyHorse.TV. The sharp increase in the number of infections caused by the omicron wave and the necessary decisions and consistent measures by the state of Schleswig-Holstein make it impossible to hold the traditional VR CLASSICS in the familiar form. "Up to the end we had considered all possibilities and hoped to be able to offer our unique, enthusiastic Neumünster audience carefree, sociable hours and unforgettable moments in top-class jumping and dressage sport," says Francois Kasselmann (Managing Director of Horses and Dreams Entertainment GmbH). In fact, however, he and the team succeeded, on the initiative of the active riders and with the support of private patrons from equestrian sports, in a joint "shoulder closure" with the world association FEI, the long-standing sponsors & partners as well as the city of Neumünster, the FEI Dressage World Cup in Neumünster 2022. "We are very happy that we can hold the World Cup station in Neumünster as an online event in these difficult times," says Francois Kasselmann happily.

FEI Dressage World Cup in the Holstenhallen
This is possible thanks to the joint effort and because the regulations of the state ordinance for the event, which is then limited to dressage tests, can be observed. The equestrian sports fans can look forward to the qualification for the FEI Dressage World Cup in the short Grand Prix on Saturday and to the Grand Prix Freestyle of the best 15 couples on Sunday. This test is then the current 5th stage of the FEI Dressage World Cup. A very important signal both for the sports scene and for the world association FEI. Neumünster's VR CLASSICS have been a World Cup location since 1989 and the organizers want them to remain so in the future. The daily program is supplemented for the participating riders with further tests such as the international small tour. Details on this will be available shortly.

Final of the BEMER Riders Tour in the "green" season
The finale of the BEMER Riders Tour will take place as part of Horses & Dreams meets Canada from 20-24. April in Hagen a.T.W. which is also the start of the 2022 tour season. The team around the tournament directors Francois and Ullrich Kasselmann, as well as Bettina & Paul Schockemöhle would like to thank the sponsors and partners of the VR CLASSICS, who have been behind them like a rock for many years of the event and give the necessary backing in great solidarity. "But I would also like to emphasize the great flexibility and willingness to cooperate of Dirk Iwersen and his team at the Holstenhallen, especially in the past two years," says Bettina Schockemöhle, long-time head of organization.
