Warendorf (fn-press). The European Show Jumping Champion, André Thieme, has managed seven clear rounds in Nations Cups in 2021. Only the Belgian Jérôme Guery recorded just as many. The two show jumpers thus lead this year's Nations Cup ranking, which is compiled every year by the Swiss equestrian magazine "PferdeWoche". They thus succeed Daniel Deußer, who was the most successful Nations Cup rider in 2019 with eight clear rounds. The best Nations Cup horse in 2021 was Thieme's top mare DSP Chakaria, who stayed clear six times.

André Thieme from Plau am See was clear at four Nations Cup tournaments this year (Sopot/POL, Uggerhalne/DEN, St. Gallen/SUI and Barcelona/ESP) as well as at the European Championships in Riesenbeck. In Sopot/POL he even managed a double clear round. And also at the European Championships in Riesenbeck, where he secured the individual title, he contributed two clear rounds to win the team silver medal. He achieved all this with his top horse, the Brandenburg mare DSP Chakaria (by Chap - Askari). The eleven-year-old chestnut mare is thus the most successful Nations Cup horse in 2021. In Uggerhalne, Denmark, Thieme had also remained without penalty points in the second round of the Nations Cup with the Westphalian mare Crazy Girl V (by Clinton - Gralshüter).
