Sophie Hinners wins world ranking-show jumping competition at Riesenbeck

The starting field was select at the first CSI2* of the year in the big hall of Riesenbeck. On Thursday evening it was not only about qualifying for the Grand Prix on Saturday, but also about world ranking points. So whoever wanted to win here had to get through the 1.45m course clear and very quickly.
A guest from Brandenburg, Steffen Krehl, was the first rider to show how it is done with Conchito (by Chacco-Blue), and he achieved a clear round in 61.74 seconds, which put him in 11th place in the final standings.
As it turned out, it was possible to go even faster. The 30th rider was the fastest: Sophie Hinners crossed the finish line on Beryl des Pres (by Popstar Lozonais) after a clear round of 57.76 seconds and secured the victory. Half a second more was needed by someone who has been part of the Beerbaum team since April last year, i.e. who is at home in Riesenbeck: Philipp Hartmann came second on Cool Feeling (by Cornado I) ahead of Philip Rüping on Castlefield Cornelious (by Cornet Obolensky).
