That was quite an announcement: Richard Vogel is not known for slow riding anyway. But in the Grand Prix of Ising over 1.45m, the 25-year-old with the Holsteiner Caracho (by Cassilano) took more than three seconds off his pursuer Simone Blum and Ciara PS (by Conthargos) in the jump-off. Third place went to Austria to Stefan Eder with Dr Scarpo (by Sandro Boy). Alexander Schill and Chelsea Gravelotte (by Caspar) came fourth ahead of Maximilian Schmid and Hetty Emaire (by Spartacus).
Sixth place also went to the team from Dagobertshausen: Sophie Hinners and Ride Smart Legends of Life (by Lord Fauntleroy). Jens Baackmann and Aglaia J (by Arpeggio) also placed tenth with two time faults. David Will and Adressee rounded off the Team Dagobertshausen result with 12th place.
