Preis der Besten: Naomi Himmelreich is the first winner

Warendorf (fn-press). The Prize of the Best is one of the most important shows for young German talent and the opportunity for the stars of tomorrow to give their business card for the season. Naomi Himmelreich and Vino v't Klosterhof Z made excellent use of this opportunity and won the overall ranking of the prize for the best in the junior jumping age group, sponsored by the Horst Gebers Foundation.

This feeling is indescribable and just great," said the winner about her performance and that of her sports partner, Vino v't Klosterhof Z. The eleven-year-old Verdi offspring was her partner at the 2021 Prize of the Best and the two had them too Overall ranking secured - but still in the children's age group up to the age of 14. 2022 was their first start in the juniors U18 age group, which means they had to prove themselves in class S*.No problem for the two, they secured it directly Victory in the first special In the second classification they had a knockdown in the second loop but their fast time meant second place in the special and victory in the general classification "Vino just doesn't lose time over the jump, he's super fast", enthused the 14-year-old from the Hessian town of Niederbruch.

The second round of the final evaluation whirled the classification up quite a bit again. Only one pair remained clear in the demanding course, namely Paula Fischer (Nuthetal) and her mare Schmuckstück. With a time error, they secured victory in the final. In the overall ranking, however, it was no longer enough for the podium, because the ranking is based on the total number of points for the two ratings.

The silver medal for the juniors went to the Rhineland, to Julius Bleser and the Arpeggio son Arramis FAP, who had achieved second place in the first and fifth place in the second classification. Arramis is now owned by the Bleser family, but it has a special previous owner: Hans Günter Winkler bought it during his lifetime. Bronze in the U18 age group goes to Jakob Feyler (Mitwitz) and Caligor in Bavaria.

There are a number of decisions to be made on the final day of the Preis der Beste: The children, ponies and young riders in show jumping as well as all age groups in dressage and eventing determine their best.
