Former European team champion Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann has a new horse in her stable. Along with it, she announced an interesting news.

Cascais is the name of Janne Meyer's new addition. The 6-year-old stallion is no stranger to breeders in southern Germany. So far, the Colestus son was placed at the stud farm Brodhecker and can also already show some offspring.

The career of the bay stallion began in 2018 at the DSP main licensing in Munich- Riem. There, the Colestus- Carrico son was licensed and moved via the auction to the Brodhecker family in Riedstadt in Hesse.
In his first performance test, the imposing stallion received a smooth 10.0 for free jumping and was able to win the test with an overall score of 9.3 as the best jumping stallion.
At the Brodhecker yard, the eldest son of the family, Philipp, was responsible for training the stallion. With him, he was able to qualify for the Bundeschampionat and win jumping tests in classes A-L with high scores. His record of success continues to include the title of Southern German Vice Champion a placement in the finals of the PSA Tour.

No wonder then that Janne Meyer together with her husband Christoph Zimmermann became aware of this interesting stallion.
The Colestus son can also already show some offspring.
Along with the purchase, another interesting news was also announced on the website of the Brodhecker family.
Janne Meyer and her husband Christoph Zimmermann now want to open a stud farm themselves, where among other things Cascais will be available to breeders.
Nevertheless, Cascais should be available to breeders in any case still in the coming year via TG semen at the stud farm Brodhecker.

Two interesting developments that you should definitely keep an eye on!
