(Neumünster) In the Holstenhallen in Neumünster, everything is prepared for the 51st Holstein licensing and elite riding horse auction. From October 28 to 30, the selected stallion prospects of the 2019 crop will face the verdict of the licensing commission and promising youngsters will change owners via the elite auction.

Around 40 elite riding horses will make the journey to Neumünster: From rough diamonds or horses that have already been successful on the show circuit to highly interesting candidates for the bush and dressage aspirants with strong movements, the right horse for every ambition is represented. For example, catalog number 103, Call me London by Carembar de Muze-Cassini I. Not only the successes of her relatives from a direct dam line speak for this likeable four-year-old gray mare, but she herself has already been placed in competitions over 1.10 meters in line with her age. Another offer to ride directly is catalog number 115: Ida von der Söhr is the name of this five-year-old chestnut mare, who has already finished as a winner in tests for young show jumpers. She descends from the World Champion Vigo d'Arsouilles, who produced the Holstein Champion Stallion last year with Vigado, and her dam was herself successful up to 1.50 meter level. Also shining with a high dam's own performance is catalog number 139, Udomar by Uriko-Cassini II. The dam of this 2018-born gelding was highly successful in 1.40-meter jumping and produced the 1.60-meter jumper Cateleya (Olivier Philippaerts/BEL) in a mating with Cachas. The auction horses will be stabled at the Holsteiner Verband facility in Elmshorn up to and including Monday, October 25, and can be tried out and viewed by appointment. During the event in Neumünster, they will present themselves live to the public on Friday evening, October 29, starting at 6 pm. The auction will start on October 30 from 11 am.
