The Longines FEI Nations' Cup Final in Barcelona is the season highlight of the team competitions in show jumping. Germany has qualified for the Final in Spain from 29 September to 2 October and will enter the Final in third place in League 1 Europe.
These are the pairs competing for Germany in the Nations Cup Final in Barcelona (in alphabetical order): Christian Kukuk (Riesenbeck) and Mumbai, Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann (Pinneberg) and Messi van't Ruytershof, Mario Stevens (Molbergen) and Starissa, André Thieme (Plau am See) and Chakaria and Jana Wargers (Emsdetten) and Limbridge.
Four starts, a victory in Sopot, a second place in Hickstead as well as fourth place in Falsterbo and Rotterdam are the balance of the Nations' Cup season so far from the German point of view. Only France with three second places and one victory in Hickstead as well as the Netherlands with one victory, two second places and one fourth place were better.
In 2020, the Nations Cup Final was cancelled due to a pandemic, in 2021 Otto Becker's team finished sixth.
