Fulminant price highlights in Vechta

The Oldenburg Stallion Days concluded with a brilliant auction. Auctioneer Daniel Delius ensured that the exhibitors' wallets were full. Six stallions fetched 300,000 euros and more. In total, the stallions fetched almost four and a half million euros. The Ic premium stallion of the Oldenburg Horse Breeders' Association (OL), a son by Suarez - Dante Weltino - Rubinstein I, bred by Nina Sixtensson, Sweden, and exhibited by the owners' association Maurice & René Tebbel, Emsbüren/Lower Saxony, was knocked down for 530,000 Euros for the Wahler family's Klosterhof Medingen. The noble black horse comes from the Rulli-Rudilore line, which also produced the Grand Prix winners Rubin Royal OLD/Hendrik Lochthowe and Romanov Blue Hors/Hans Peter Minderhoud, NED. The dark bay Jovian - Benaggio - De Niro son, bred by Caterina Schulz-Beelitz, Behrensdorf/Schleswig-Holstein, and exhibited by Johan Ifverson, Sweden, was knocked down to a famous stallion station in Sweden for 370,000 Euros. The stallion by Foundation - Bretton Woods - Dormello, bred by Ulrich Brinkhus, Emstek/Lower Saxony, and exhibited by Antonius Schulze Averdiek, Rosendahl/North Rhine-Westphalia, moved to Schönweide Stud in Schleswig-Holstein for hardly less, 360,000 euros. The premium stallion by Floricello - Ampère - Stedinger, bred by Rainer Lechl, Postmünster/Bavaria, exhibitor: Detlef Ruddat, Gestüt Gerkenhof, Kirchlinteln/Lower Saxony, was knocked down for 350,000 Euros and remains in the Oldenburg Münsterland. And the licensed stallion by Secret - Stedinger - Placido, bred by Felix Poelmann, Barßel/Lower Saxony, exhibitor: J.P. Dalsem, Netherlands, was knocked down to the Ukraine for 304,500 Euros. The Oldenburg jumping stallions also set standards worldwide: The licensed stallion by Chacco-Blue - Fetiche du Pas - Darco, bred by Marc Wens, Belgium, exhibited by Johannes Heinrichs, Heinsberg/North Rhine-Westphalia, brother of the 1.60 m winner Halifax van het Kluizebos, shone for 300,000 Euros. The bay high-flyer will move to an international show jumping stable in Saudi Arabia in the future. The Vechta auctions are the springboard for numerous successful horses at the licensing. This was also the case for the success story of the OS Champion Stallion by Cornet Obolensky - Cassini I - Contender - Narew xx, bred by Thomas Koch, Haltern am See/North Rhine-Westphalia. Marc Idelmann from Wetschen/Lower Saxony discovered him at the foal auction in Vechta. This champion was also auctioned off for 250,000 euros to a renowned stud in Oldenburg Münsterland. Half of them, 11 out of 20 dressage stallions of the Verband der Züchter des Oldenburger Pferdes (OL), will in future please Oldenburg friends abroad. At the Springpferdezuchtverband Oldenburg-International (OS), four of 19 stallions available for sale moved to Oldenburg friends abroad. In detail, the stallions will move into their boxes in Ukraine (4), France (3), Great Britain (2), USA (2), Netherlands (1), Saudi Arabia (1), Sweden (1) and Hungary (1). The OL stallions generated total sales of 3,303,000 euros. The average price of the licensed stallions settled at 186,000 Euros. For the unlicensed stallions, it was around 28,000 euros. The jumping stallions of the OS Verband sold for a total of 1,178,500 Euros. For a licensed stallion, bidders had to stake an average of around 85,000 euros. The unlicensed stallions cost an average of around 22,300 euros.
