Münster: 27 of the youngest Westphalians were for sale at the Westphalian Stud Book this evening. The first online auction for foals went satisfactorily. 18 of the foals offered changed hands at an average price of 7,639 Euros. The most popular offer was the head number 1 Dynamic Boy. The stallion changed hands for 17,500 Euros.


The first Westphalian online auction for foals in 2022 came to an end this evening. The highly interesting lot included 27 Westphalian offspring. The first offer of the evening aroused the highest desires. Already at the beginning of the bidding phase, the popularity of the Dynamic Dream/Zack son with the head number 1 became apparent. Dynamic Boy (breeder and exhibitor: Bruno Blome, Ahaus) started the Westphalian online auction season for foals this year with a strong type and movement. He found his new home in the Netherlands at a hammer price of 17,500 Euros. His dam already presented a Fürstenball son at the 2018 foal auction, which sold for 59,000 Euros.

In total, 18 of the 27 foals on offer changed hands this evening. With a total turnover of 137,500 euros, the international clientele invested an average of 7,639 euros. Five of the foals sold will start their journey abroad. "The start of our foal auction season was satisfactory. This was the first of over ten planned online foal auctions this year. Apart from the desire to achieve top prices, our focus is also on being able to support as many breeders as possible in marketing their foals," sums up auction manager Thomas Münch.


The first Westphalian foals already changed owners last Saturday. During the foal auction at the Sudheim Outdoors in Brakel, eight jumping foals changed hands for an average price of 14,875 Euros. The next Westphalian Online Auction for foals is scheduled for 16 May. The lot of the 20 interesting youngsters can be viewed at onlineauction.westfalenpferde.de from 2 May.
