Escamillo triumps with his offsprings

Münster: The foal auction season is coming to an end. In an online auction, the Westphalian Horse Stud Book once again offered top offers for sale. The lot had 26 foals with a dressage pedigree ready. At an average price of 6,893 euros, 21 of the foals on offer changed hands. The most popular offer of the evening was a daughter of Escamillo/Secret. After 53 bids from 16 bidders, the hammer fell at 33,000 euros.

Eminence is the descriptive name of the most popular foal at this auction. This filly has a riding horse pedigree par excellence. She is a daughter of the popular sire Escamillo, who has shone several times with his offspring at riding horse auctions. She was bred by Erika Oetzel, Viersen, out of the Secret daughter Simply Black. Secret himself was the federal champion of six-year-old riding horses and shines with his offspring at the country's riding and dressage horse arenas. With the 53rd bid the black mare was accepted. Eminence was worth 33,000 euros to her new owners this evening. The most popular colt in this auction lot will begin his riding career in Great Britain. Emotion (breeder and exhibitor: Noortje-Radstaake, Netherlands) is a son of Escaneno who finished his sports test with an outstanding final result of 9.09. Escaneno is also a son of the former vice world champion of young dressage horses Escamillo. The mother of this colt is Capri Sonne Jr.'s daughter Capri Tanz. She comes from the dam line of the licensed and highly successful stallions Welt Hit I to IV. Emotion was worth 9,250 euros to his new owners. For the penultimate time this year, the Westphalian Horse Stud Book offered foals for sale in an online auction. This lot contained 26 young dressage stars. At an average price of 6,893 euros, 81 percent of these changed hands. The Westphalian Horse Stud Book thus achieved a total turnover of 144,750 euros. Eight of the foals sold were accepted by customers outside of Germany.
