Wellington: German Nations Cup team wins

The dressage team from the host USA in second place ahead of Canada


Wellington (fn-press). In the tenth week of the "Global Dressage Festival" in Wellington/Florida, three teams met for the Nations Cup of the CDIO3*. With a narrow lead, the German team took the lead ahead of the hosts USA. The Canadian athletes took third place.


The Nations Cup in Wellington follows its own rules. The best results from the Grand Prix and Grand Prix Special are not added here, but the percentages from the junior tests Prix St. Georges and Intermediaire I are also included. However, the scores of the Grand Prix competitions have a higher value with a factor of 1.5. An all-male team started for Germany: Michael Klimke (Münster) and the Oldenburg stallion Harmony's Sanrino by San Remo won the Grand Prix, Christoph Koschel took second place in the saddle of the Hanoverian Dancier son Dünensee. In the tests for young horses, Prix St. Georges and Intermediaire I, Lars Ligus and the Hanoverian Soccer City by Sir Donnerhall and Frederic Wandres with Dolciario, Hanoverian gelding by Danciano, decent percentage points.
