Holsteiner Pferdetage: 15,500 euros for Crack daughter Countess

(Elmshorn) On Friday afternoon, 26 Holsteiner foals came to the Herbert-Blöcker-Platz and came to the auction in hybrid format. “The concept of moving the auction to Friday afternoon worked as hoped. Not only numerous spectators, but also many customers came to Elmshorn. And the format of the hybrid auction has proven its worth once again,” summarized Managing Director Roland Metz with satisfaction.

The price peak of 15,500 euros was secured by buyers from Argentina. This is a crack Corrado daughter bred by Joachim Jürgens from Bollbrügge and line 42B, which was not named Countess for nothing. Mylene Nagel's (Diedrichsmeier) successful horse of the same name, Countess, also descends from this maternal line. Auctioneer Hendrik Schulze-rückamp's hammer fell twice at 15,000 euros. On the one hand in Cascais v. Casall-Contender (Dr. August Bartjen, Wacken) and on the other hand with Caspar v. Cascadello I-Contender (Jens Böckenhauer, Bostedt).

Overall, the accepted offers generated sales of 251,400 euros. On average, customers, including the Maas J. Hell stallion station and Grönwohldhof, invested around 9,700 euros for a foal.
