36th Holstein Spring Auction:
(Elmshorn) The Holsteiner Verband auction year is about to start. The four-year-old and older auction candidates moved into their boxes in Elmshorn last week and are already in training. On Saturday, March 5th at 6 p.m., these young talents will present themselves to the public for the first time.
For example, catalog number 10, five-year-old Kira, a Quasimodo van de Moldendreef daughter who was sired by Festel I by. Cascadello I has a very special mother. Festel is the Holstein Champion Mare of 2016. The Olympic horse Vitali, with whom Tim Price competed in eventing in Tokyo in 2021, comes from this direct dam line. Catalog number 6 also has a successful dam: we are talking about Californication VLN by Diamant de Semilly. The four-year-old mare's mother is the Clearway daughter Colina, who was successful in jumps up to 1.50 meters with Natalia Czernik. “I am very happy that we have again managed to put together a collection that is characterized by great sportiness. International blood paired to proven and well-bred Holsteiner mare lines are supplemented by interesting young stallions and outcross alternatives,” says Marketing Director Roland Metz with satisfaction. Anyone who would like to get a personal impression of the collection is welcome in Elmshorn on March 5 (6 p.m.) and March 19 (10 a.m.) for the presentations. In order to try out the horses, we would like to ask you to make an appointment in advance.
