With 26 stallions, the team of the Holsteiner Verband Hengsthaltungs GmbH around Managing Director Sebastian Rohde had come up with an entertaining and varied programme for the annual Verband stallion presentation in Neumünster.
From A like Agamemdon xx to Z like Zuccero, the sires took turns in the Holstenhallen. The younger stallions, such as Update by United Way, Zuccarello by Zuccero or Daikon by Dominator Z were shown in age-appropriate courses. Tjark Nagel accompanied the performances with training character and explained how the young horses are introduced to upcoming tasks. Meanwhile, presenter Carsten Sostmeier and Sebastian Rohde provided the audience with detailed information about the stallions. Sebastian Rohde attached great importance to providing information about the stallions' interior and invited breeders to contact him personally if they had any questions and to visit the stallion stable in Elmshorn. The stallions that have already been tested in competitions, such as Cardentos by Cardento, Cahil by Cornet Obolensky, Vigado by Vigo d'Arsouilles, or Keaton by Kannan, were also in good shape for the new season.
Vigado and Keaton were ridden by Sophie Hinners, who did not miss the opportunity to travel to Neumünster especially for the presentation. She also rode her former Nations Cup winner Million Dollar by Plot Blue and Crack by Cornet Obolensky. The 2021 Bundeschampion will again be supported by Richard Vogel in the coming year. And Rolf-Göran Bengtsson now also has another Holstein Verband stallion in training in addition to his current top horse Zuccero by Zirocco Blue: His performance with Charaktervoll by Comme il faut was an impressive foretaste of the sporting future of the combination. With Fidano by Fidertanz, Lukas Fischer showed a dressage stallion with strong movements. Of course, the old stars from Elmshorn should not be missing from the traditional presentations: Casall by Caretino, Clarimo by Clearway, Connor by Casall, Dinken by Diarado, Larimar by Lavall II and Uriko by Untouchable all showed themselves fresh in hand. The two newcomers were also presented: Union City by United Way and Vidalgo by Von Holstein have only received a positive approval this Saturday and will enrich the Verband stallion programme in the future.
The Holsteiner Verband Hengsthaltungs GmbH also honoured their breeders during the presentation: The breeders of the most successful jumping horses of Verband stallions according to the FN ranking lists were awarded with staggered premiums of up to 1,000 Euros.
